Ignition timing
13 degree advance mark right cylinder
magneto adjustment and
13 degree mark left cylinder
distributor cover back on
along with valve covers, breather box oil pipes, carburetors and air filter.
Air filter? - it's probably perfect for keeping larger insects out of the engine...

Engine - part 2
Fly wheel assembly - Left cylinder TDC
A trip around Denmark - grade 10.9 bolts found
Loctite and Schnorr washers..
Torqued in place - clutch springs "glued in" already
Them Sinister lefties..
Clutch pressure plate tool - pressure plate mark aligned with paint on flywheel
clutch and ring gear in place
Top ends re-torqued to specifications and rocker spindles installed
Valve clearance adjusted to spec. 0.22 mm

After the Strip...
Comes reassembly!
engine case
old circlips
new circlips (and piston rings)
crankshaft bearing and oil pump
loc tite for the camshaft retainer bolts
red goes up - and a lot of Molykote
more loc tite
molykote does the job..
con rods torqued in
bingo!
Oil filter? - wouldn't recommend it even for tea brewing!
Sump back on.
ready for timing chain and sprockets
Slide on
Don't lose this little bugger..
there it goes - oil pump working
Special tool needed
Chain tensioner in place and reusable gasket fittet
timing cover back on and rev-counter inserted
Cylinders on - realized one is chrome and one is nikasil..
Top ends
remember all the o-rings and gaskets
Almost done - waiting for another torque down tomorrow when the gaskets have set in.
